Anti-corrosion wax coating
Description Temporary wax-based corrosion protection film for preservation of machine parts with bare metal surfaces during storage and shipping. For bare metal surfaces of all kinds, which are stored for longer periods and are subject to effects of weathering (industrial atmosphere, tropics, and ocean). Applications To protect finely machined metal surfaces such as tools, dies, moulds including Plastic injection moulds, spare parts, machines etc., against corrosion during storage and transport, even under industrial atmosphere, tropical climate and marine conditions. Ideal stand by and storage protection for spare parts with possibility of direction installation. Easily removable coating (e.g. with OKS 2600 / OKS 2601). Advantages and benefits ??? The film is very thin, colorless and dry. On request, the product can also be delivered in blue colour. Highly effective due to good film-forming properties. Excellent suited for producing dry to the touch, clean protective films. Outstanding corrosion and oxidation protection with lubricating effect. No degreasing prior to commissioning, as compatible with all lubricants. and resistant to weathering. Suitable for all climate zones. The product does not harm rubber and plastic Free from Chlorinated solvents Good compatibility with lubricants. Application Tips For best results clean the surface, first mechanically and then with OKS 2600/OKS 2601. Spray a thin layer onto the dry and clean areas. Avoid excess application. Compatible to most oil based lubricants, it is not necessary to remove the film before use. Take care of manufacturers advices. For additional questions please contact our Technical Department. Shake the container well before use. The product can be applied on thoroughly cleaned surface by spraying. Close the container lid securely after use. Since the propellant is highly inflammable the can should be stored below + 50°C and away from heat sources.

Apply OKS 450 with a brush, drip oiler or by immersion or using a suitable automatic lubrication system locations to be lubricated. Spray on evenly OKS 451 spray. Allow excess to drip off and wait for lubricant to penetrate before resuming operation. In as far as available, observe the machine manufacturer's instructions. Assess the lubrication frequency and quantity on basis of service conditions, avoid excessive lubrication. Caution: Only mix with suitable lubricants.

Applications
To achieve optimal adhesion clean the thread or the sliding surface first mechanically and then with OKS 2610/OKS 2611 universal cleaner to remove soiling as well as any lubricant residues. Use a brush, spatula or similar to apply a sufficient amount of paste to the head or nut contact surface and to the thread. Spray on evenly OKS 241 spray. The paste will also act as a sealant. Caution: Do not use paste instead of grease and mix only with suitable lubricants.
