Compliant with EN 1567 Standard Acoustic group II. Available sizes G 1/2" F ÷ G 4" F.
Pressure reducing valves are mainly used in the private water network,in order to reduce and maintain the pressure of the water coming fromthe public distribution network at a constant value. This is how pressure changes are prevented. In fact, they coulddamage the components of the domestic system or lead to incorrectwater distribution. The compensated flow, a construction feature that characterizesTiemme pressure reducing valves, ensures the maintenance of theset value when the upstream pressure changes (for more informationrefer to "TIEMME INFORMS" section of this technical data sheet).Tiemme pressure reducing valves meet the parameters set by the EN1567 standard, falling within the acoustic group II. High operating pressure resistant: PN25 bar Sealing in stainless steel Wide range available (FF threaded connections - MM unionconnections - FF union connections) Equipped with compensated flow Compliant with EN 1567 Standard Can be installed in all positions Compact size

Mechanical device for water hammer arresting
Water Hammer Arrestor
Mechanical device for water hammer arresting composed of a chrome-plated brass body with 1/2"M threaded fitting complete of ethylene-propylene (EPDM)o-ring, high resistance polymer
damper disk with ethylene-propylene (EPDM) o-rings and AISI302 stainless steel spring. To be used with: water or glycol solutions (up to maximum 30% glycol content). Maximum operating
temperature 100°C. Minimum operating temperature-20°C (as long as the fluid remains in the liquid state). Maximum operating pressure 10 bar. Maximum water hammer pressure 50bar.
Minimum opening pressure 3bar.
In hydraulic systems where ball valves, solenoid valves or other quick shut-off devices are installed, it is frequent for the water hammer phenomenon to occur. This is caused by sudden fluid deceleration and/or acceleration that generate(s) overpressures and/or depressions in the system with consequent damages to the components and especially to the pipes. It is for this reason that art. 15 of the UNI 9182 standard establishes its use “in all hot and cold water supply and distribution systems…” The Tiemme device for water arresting has the aim of protecting the system against possible damages and for this reason it must be installed as close as possible to quick shutoff devices or, in any case, on the distribution manifold of the single circuits or at the main circuit inlet. The device can be installed in any position (horizontal, vertical, towards the bottom, etc.). To guarantee the correct functioning of the device and the proper working of the hydraulic components (taps, manifolds, etc.), it is preferable to install a pressure reducer calibrated to 3÷4bar at the main input of the hydraulic network and to size the system in order to avoid too high speeds in the pipes. The device should be installed in accordance with the instructions given in the ‘Guidelines for prevention and control of legionellosis’’ by the Ministry of Health to avoid its stagnation in dead zones difficult to disinfec

AUTOMATIC AIR VENT VALVE
DESCRIPTION ADVANTAGES/STRENGTHS
Automatic air vent valve with protective cap made of: body in yellow/nickel-plated CW617N brass, cover in yellow/nickel-plated CW617N brass, O-rings in EPDM, float in PP, linkage in PP, obturator in EPDM, spring in AISI 302 stainless steel, ABS cap, ISO 228 threading. Maximum working temperature +110 °C. Max working pressure 16 bar. Maximum discharge pressure 4 bar. Fluid compatibility, water and glycol solutions (maximum percentage of glycol 30%). Available in 1/2" and 3/4" sizes.
Automatic air vent valves are used in heating and cooling systems toeliminate air that has been trapped in the circuits during filling or hasformed during normal operation. This series of valves is characterised by its excellent air ventingcapacity and is equipped with a protective cap to prevent any suddenleakage of hot fluid.Operating principle: The presence of air in the system reduces the levelof water contained in the relief valve, resulting in the float loweringand the gas discharge device opening. Otherwise, if there is no air inthe circuit, the water inside the relief valve keeps the float in such aposition that the gas discharge device remains closed.Eliminating the air in the circuits avoids problems such as noise in thesystem and wear of its components, to ensure better performance ofthe radiant terminals, resulting in a consequent reduction in operatingcosts (to learn more, see the "INFORMATION FROM TIEMME" sectionof this technical data sheet). Automatic air release operation. Maximum discharge pressure 4 bar. Guarantees better performance of the system with a consequentreduction in management costs. Avoids issues with noise in the system and component wear. High air venting capacity. Equipped with a protective cap against any sudden leakage of hotfluid.PRODUCT RANGEArt.
